Brian Allen Okay. Leave Me Free is a killer spotlight, but Serpent is the most accessibly radio-friendly presented here.

But Gypsy Trip is fucking downright transcending. This track, like the whole EP, grabs you by your horns and drags you on a journey, to places far and wide.

Killer album art from the bassist's brother(?).

This is clearly the beginning of something bigger. Jim M., Jimi H., Hawkwind and the best of the 1970's would agree:
A toast! To Roast! Favorite track: Gypsy Trip.

Bill Goodman Well well well, what do we have here? Some more great 70’s based hard rock. This is the stuff of legends, or in the case of Roast, soon to be legends.

zzillizz Roast’s second track ‘Serpent’ starts out with a sinister opening lick that sets the tone for an onslaught of heavy rock with fiery blues overtones. The clear, near creepy vocals balance the song’s multiple shifts from scorching rock, through intoxicating groove trips, and set you down hard in an entirely sexy landscape of riffage. Roast is an utter inferno.

Bucky Roast burns us with 4 tracks of unadulterated heavy blues, caramelized with brain melting solos sautéed in proto-doom. The Zeppelin esque' squelch seers with Pentagram harmony on the debut EP steeping in Sabbath worship and smoldering with heavy psychedelic aroma. The young dudes from CA manage to concoct a flaming set of irresistible tunes. Mesmerizing artwork to boot! Wow! Big future ahead!

When the ships come forth you better find a place to hide I believe they're Interstellar here in disguise They tried to warn us you told me they were lies now look in front of you they're waiting in the skies yeah The serpent in the sky know you better hide the serpent in the sky you know you're gonna die As the shadow creeps your mouth is open wide just accept you doing your life is borrowed time now they're above you and there inside your mind infiltrating every brainwave to be washed in time The serpent in the sky you know you better hide the serpent in the sky you know you're gonna die Now you see the lies and the true intention to destroy your world condensed in sin impatiently waiting for your demise a symphony of cries while you bathe and flames
